An Established Austin, Texas, Family Law Firm
When I opened my law practice in 1995, I committed myself to providing personal client service. I have maintained that commitment as my practice has grown over the years. With the help of my staff, I personally investigate, prepare, negotiate, and if necessary, try every case I take on. I pride myself on having a firm grasp of my clients’ situations and their goals.
In the area of family law, I handle divorce settlements, child custody and visitation agreements, modifications of prior divorce and custody orders, enforcement actions, relocations, adoptions, name changes, prenuptial agreements and other matters. I am a founding member of the Austin Collaborative Law Group. Collaborative law practice is a new form of alternative dispute resolution for family law cases in Texas.
My Qualifications As An Attorney
As an interested citizen and an attorney, I have attended the Supreme Court Advisory Committee hearings on changes to the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure pertaining to evictions, and I participated in the ad hoc committee meeting designed to help solve problems presented by the current eviction rules.
I am licensed in Texas state courts and the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. Appellate cases I have tried include:
- Pringadi v. Heffern, 2005 WL 2978434, Tex.App.-Austin, November 3, 2004 (No. 03-05-00501-CV) (Not reported in the Southwestern Reporter)
- Miller v. Ludeman, 150 S.W.3d 592, Tex.App.-Austin 2004 (pet. denied).
